Umera Ahmed is a very popular Urdu story and novel writer. Although these days she is not writing for the print media and only for the TV, however she has produced some great Urdu stories and novels before.
The following is a list of the two most famous Urdu novels along with brief descriptions written by Umera Ahmed.

1.       Peer-e-Kamil (s.a.w)
The Peer-e-Kamil (s.a.w) is undoubtedly the most famous of all the Urdu stories and novels written by Umera Ahmed. This novel mainly encompasses two characters, Imama and Saalar. Imama is a girl belonging to a minority religious group in Pakistan. She learns about Islam and eventually becomes a Muslim. Saalar is already a Muslim but engaged in all sorts of social evils. Eventually he too becomes a true Muslim. The novel is all about how the love of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) brought these two people towards Islam.
2.       Meri Zaat Zara e Benishan
Meri Zaat Zara e Benishan is an excellent Urdu novel by Umera Ahmed. The story novel revolves around a single character Saba. The novel shows her reactions and patience when her family accuses her of something she did not do. Her aunt even took a false oath on the Quran. The story of Saba’s life is worth reading.
